Casey Anthony Defamation Lawsuits to Proceed in Federal Court.

The defamation lawsuits against Casey Anthony will proceed in federal court, a judge ruled, but this actually may be a small victory for the "Tot Mom."
Casey Anthony, Hair
A bankruptcy judge ruled that the 27-year-old was too "destitute" for defamation suits against her to proceed in state court, which her team had argued.
Anthony's legal team wanted lawsuits by Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk to be handled federally in U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May's court.
That way he can decide whether the suits are dischargeable.
Casey Anthony, who was found not guilty of murdering her daughter, Caylee, in 2011, says she is $800,000 in debt and has a pittance to her name.
Zenaida Gonzalez says Anthony damaged her reputation by saying that someone with a similar name (Zanny the Nanny) kidnapped Caylee Anthony.
Kronk claims Anthony's lawyer implicated him in the death.
