Prince Jackson, the eldest son of Michael Jackson, is expected to testify today in the wrongful death suit filed by his family against AEG Live.
Lawyers for the Jackson family will call Prince, 16, to the stand one day after the four-year anniversary of Michael's death from a drug overdose.
An overdose, the family claims, AEG Live is indirectly responsible for.
Prince Michael was 12 when MJ died from an overdose of surgical anesthetic propofol while he rehearsed for a series of comeback concerts in London.
AEG Live executives, MJ's personal chef and the choreographer for his aborted "This Is It" concert series, are among those who have testified at the trial.
Witnesses have painted a picture of the singer's final months.
They testified Jackson, 50, was pushed so hard by AEG that he had grown so weak he had difficulty executing moves and remembering song lyrics.
Katherine Jackson, Michael's mom, and the children are suing AEG Live, which was promoting Jackson's concerts, for negligence in hiring Dr. Conrad Murray.
Murray was caring for MJ as he prepared for the shows and was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011. He is serving a four-year sentence.
Prince will follow expert witness Gordon Matheson, a physician, who says Murray had a conflict of interest while caring for Jackson because of AEG.
Murray's heavy debts and AEG's lack of supervision of Murray - who it paid a high salary - posed a danger to Jackson, given his drug and addiction problems.
The question is whether AEG could actually lose, as the company has said they could not have foreseen that Murray posed a danger to Jackson.
Katherine Jackson, 83, along with the late singer's three children - Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson - are listed as plaintiffs in the $40 billion case.
